Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that involves the alteration or removal of excess skin, fat, or muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. It is often performed to improve the appearance of the eyes and to address functional issues such as sagging eyelids or difficulty opening the eyes.

There are two types of doctors who may perform blepharoplasty: plastic surgeons and ophthalmologists. Plastic surgeons are medical doctors who specialize in the surgical reconstruction of physical defects of the skin and underlying tissue, including the face. Ophthalmologists are medical doctors who specialize in the medical and surgical care of the eyes.

the choice of which doctor to see for the procedure will depend on the specific needs and goals of the patient.

If the main goal of the procedure is to improve the appearance of the eyes, a plastic surgeon may be the best choice. They are trained in facial surgery and have a comprehensive understanding of the anatomy and aesthetics of the face.

Eyelid surgery can correct the changes in the eyelids that contribute to a tired, angry, and aged appearance.Aesthetic surgeon Dr. Demir performs eyelid surgery in his state-of-the-art, fully equipped surgicenter. It is normally performed under local anesthesia with intravenous sedation. During surgery, Dr. Demir removes excess skin and fat from both the upper and lower lids. All four lids can be corrected during the same procedure. If desired and applicable, fat from the lower and upper eyelids or elsewhere can be relocated ( lipofilling ) to address hollowness under the eyes. Also in the same incision,if desired, midface lift can be done

Youthful look operation:

During surgey, Dr. Demir removes frown lines to use same upper blepharoplasty incision and elevates your brows if you want it.This procedure is called “youthful look operation” by Dr.Demir.

Blepharoplasty incisions are typically very well hidden: the upper lid incision in the upper eyelid crease, the lower lid incision just below the lashes or on the inside of the eyelid (called the transconjuctival approach).

FOX EYES, CAT EYES AND TEMPORAL LIFT SURGERY IN TURKEY ANTALYA

How Is a Temporal Lift Performed?

begin by giving you local anesthesia injections in both temples, just past the hairline where the incisions will be made. He will then make two very small, hidden incisions. One on each side just beyond the hairline. This will ensure that the scar is not visible. Dr. Demir then repositions the underlying tissues upward. This removes wrinkles and fine lines from the inside out. It also smooths and lifts the lateral, or outer, portions of the face. The excess skin is then trimmed, and the incision is closed with small sutures. the temporal lift to achieve a lateral flare and fox eyes look

This procedure can have a variety of effects, including:

  • Reducing wrinkles and folds in the brow, forehead, and corners of the eyes • Smoothing the forehead • Raising outer 1/3 brow • Lifting sagging cheeks • Removing or reducing hooding over upper eyelids • Smoothing “crow’s feet” around the eyes • Giving “sleepy” eyes a wider and more open appearance

A temporal lift, on the other hand, lifts only the sides of face and forehead. It does not affect the middle of the forehead or the area between the brows in any way.

CAT EYES AND FOX EYES SURGERIES

this procedure allows tilting the lateral corners of the eyes to achieve natural almond shaped eyes. The corner of the eyelids (technical term lateral canthus) sits higher and slants a little upwards Formally known as canthoplasty, cat eye lift is a complex and delicate procedure that requires a plastic surgeon with extreme precision, knowledge, and experience to ensure results that appear natural and subtle, yet striking cat eye lift, Dr. Demir will carefully and precisely tighten and lift the outer corner (lateral canthus) of each eye to achieve symmetry and a more youthful, appealing cat-eye shape. Canthoplasty is typically performed while the patient is under local anesthesia and lasts about 1 hours, depending on whether or not any additional procedures are being performed simultaneously.
